Celebrating 9 Years of Hemp Bombs!

Since 2016, Hemp Bombs has been a powerhouse in the CBD industry, delivering premium products and setting new standards for quality, innovation, education and customer satisfaction. As we celebrate our 9-year anniversary this week, we’re taking a trip down memory lane to commemorate the journey and milestones that have shaped us into the trusted natural wellness brand we are today. 

A Bold Vision: The Beginning

Hemp Bombs got its start in the industry 9 years ago with the determination to provide high-quality, accessible CBD products to consumers seeking mental and physical relief. Our first product, a capsule 2-pack, paved the way for an array of innovative products to come. By 2017, our brand began expanding as we focused on the implementation of automated manufacturing machinery. All the while, we continued adding new CBD products to our site to meet the growing demand for effective and reliable CBD products.

Growth and Expansion

2018 was the year that changed the game for Hemp Bombs. We doubled down on our commitment to quality and transparency by taking control of our production process – we began buying raw, U.S. grown hemp and processing it from seed to sale. This shift allowed our brand to provide our customers with the highest quality and most consistent CBD products.

In 2019, we settled into a brand-new 45,000-square-foot office, manufacturing and distribution facility, allowing us to function in a vertically integrated company structure. Later that year, we expanded even further, acquiring over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space and enhancing our in-house lab testing capabilities. These manufacturing investments ensured that we could meet production needs while simultaneously maintaining our strict quality standards.

Innovations and New Product Launches

Here at Hemp Bombs, we’ve always been at the forefront of CBD innovation, pushing boundaries of what this powerful cannabinoid can offer. From 2019 and onward, we introduced a range of cutting-edge products and brand initiatives:

• 2019: We initiated a brand refresh by launching new product packaging with QR codes for ingredient and lab testing transparency. We also added Acai Berry and Orange Creamsicle flavors to our CBD Oil lineup and celebrated our first annual Hemptoberfest.
• 2020: We Introduced a CBD topicals selection including CBD Cool Freeze Roll-On, 1000mg CBD Cool Freeze as well as higher CBD Oil potencies with exciting flavors like Chocolate Mint.
• 2021: Our Botanical Gummies won the Convenience Store News Best New Product award and we launched immunity-boosting CBD Gummies with elderberry
• 2022: We expanded into Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC products, including THC infused sleep gummieshigh-potency formulas and seasonal fall- and winter-inspired flavors.
• 2023: Our dedication to innovation continued as we introduced Max Potency CBD gummiesAshwagandha-infused CBD gummiesFocus CBD gummies, and the launch of CBD+D9 hybrid gummies

Each new product launch further defined us as a leader in the CBD industry at the cutting edge of new and developing technologies, techniques and ingredient formulations. 

Our Commitment to Quality and Compliance

Beyond product innovation, we’ve taken significant steps to ensure our customers receive safe and effective CBD with an emphasis on compliance. In 2021, we achieved, and continue to uphold, Florida Food Hemp, GMP and Kosher certifications, which ensured customer confidence in Hemps Bombs’ dedication to executing best industry practices.

We also made it easier for customers to enjoy our products by launching a subscription service in 2021, introducing a rewards program, and revamping our website to allow for a more user-friendly shopping experience and include valuable CBD education.
